KENYAN: CHAPATI WITH YELLOW BEANS

Ingredients:

Wheat flour
2 Cups
Cooking oil
Salt
Sugar
1 Tablespoons
Grated carrots
Hot water
Yellow beans
150 Grams
Onion
50 Grams
Tomatoe
50 Grams
Tomatoe past
10 Grams
Garlic
5 Grams
Coriander
Salt
Gram masala
1 Teaspoons
2chillies
Optional

Preparation mode:

Pour the flour into a basin and add the salt and sugar to the flour.Now add the grated carrots to the flour followed by 3tablespoon of cooking oil. Mix the ingredients and flour well.

Add the water to the flour and start kneading until all the water has been absorbed and the the mixture is tough but not sticky. Allow it to rest for 20minutes.

Roll the kneaded flour on a smooth surface then roll it out using a rolling pin.After completely stretching it out divide it into several 8 straight pieces. Cut the kneaded flour horizontal into several different pieces. Start roll out each ball into round flat pieces using the rolling pin.

Start by warming a flat pan on your oven.After it’s warm place one of the pieces of chapati on the pan and apply oil on both sides until it turns brown

Boil yellow and set aside

In aseparate sufuria add oil and saute onions and garlic

Add tomatoes,tomato paste and gram masala cook for 2min and add boiled dengu

Stir and add salt and ¼cup of water cover with a lid and cook for another 5mins then add chopped Coriander
